“Absolute Clown” – USMNT Star Unleashes His Inner Dennis Rodman but Gets Laughed off by Fans

A long wait finally ended, and USMNT finally played their first match of FIFA WC 2022 in Qatar. The team played their last WC match 8 years ago, in the 2014 WC. USMNT played the first match against Wales, which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Timothy Weah scored the first goal of the game for the US in the 36th minute. Gareth Bale then levels the lead by scoring in the 82nd minute. Team US had a rough match with four yellow cards with just one shot on target. Thankfully, they converted that shot.

England, however, won their first match against Iran, which is a story. Then, in the nail-biter match US vs. Wales, Weston McKenzie became the point of trolls from Twitter due to something very unrelated to the game. Yes! McKenzie is getting trolled for his hairstyle against Wales.

It all started with a soccer troll page posted a comparison between Mackenzie’s hair and the flag of France. The troller was making fun of the similarity. Sooner many users jumped in with their creativity. Have a look at these hilarious tweets.

“Looks like a clown,” a fan wrote.

Several fans defied Weston McKenzie, saying those colors are the colors from the flag of the USA. It makes sense and probably is the reason behind Weston’s hair color. But Twitter trolled everybody back by pointing out that some fans can’t take jokes and don’t understand Humor.

“it’s not like the guy is playing for USA or something,” another comment said.

In other WC 2022 news, Ecuador beat the host Qatar in the inauguration match of the event by 2-0. England obliterated Iran 6-2, and the Netherlands beat Senegal 2-0. This World Cup was controversial, but as soon as the matches started, everybody started enjoying the game.

Hard times for Qatar and Iran, but fans are hoping they bounce back. The USA will face England next on 26th November at Al Bayt Stadium. Soccer experts are counting England as the favorite of the match. Let’s hope they prove them wrong.
