“Abandoned as a Lost Cause” – Real Madrid Set to Take a Major Eden Hazard Decision in the Transfer Window After a Disastrous World Cup Campaign

The World Cup is about to be concluded and we almost got a clear picture of the top 8. This World Cup was a miracle for some of the teams as they punched above their weight group and shocked the world with their performance. But, not every team had a positive performance, some teams had very underwhelming performances despite high expectations from fans. Belgium failed to qualify for the next round and midfielder Eden Hazard might have to face the consequences of poor performance.

Eden Hazard might get laid off

AS journalist Jesus Gallego has said that, Madrid no longer thinks that the 31-year-old will recapture his best form. He said, “After being enthusiastic a few times for his recovery, the club no longer thinks the player will look like he was, he is abandoned as a lost cause.”

The quotes, if true, can easily reflect the plan of the club. However, the player demands very high transfer fees. Hazard would be entitled to sit on his contract and leave as a free agent in 2024.
