Emily Sams is one of the bright stars in American soccer and is making an impact both on and off the field. Emily was born in Idaho’s Boise in 1999, then she moved to Florida in 2014, where she became famous at Navarre High School, scoring 107 goals and assisting on 70. Because of her remarkable talent, she earned the title of 2016 Florida Miss Soccer. She played from 2017 to 2021 for the Florida State Seminoles, making 62 appearances, her contribution assisting in the winning of the 2021 National Championship. 

Despite the hardships she endured, including two ACL injuries, she came back strong and earned the ACC Defensive Player of the Year award. Sams launched her professional career in 2022 with Racing Louisville in the USL W League before joining the NWSL, where she was drafted by Orlando Pride in 2023. Her breakout season featured her first goal, first assist, and the NWSL Shield.
