“A GTA Cop” – Embarrassing Scenes as Soccer Referee Bumps Into the Player Before Sending Him Off With a Red Card Leaving Fans in Disbelief

There are incidents in soccer where there’s a debacle between the player and the referees. Sometimes the referee wrongly sends the player off by showing a red card, while other times the player rightly gets sent off for the aggression shown toward referees. One such incident happened in the Argentina Primera Division on Sunday and fans have reacted to the video on social media.

Atletico Tucuman welcomed San Lorenzo on Sunday for a Primera Division game. The tempers were high in the game, officiated by Fernando Espinoza. Things heated up in the 42nd minute when Lorenzo’s player got injured by a harsh tackle from a Tucuman player. The referee showed a yellow card, which was upgraded to red by a VAR consultation.

However, immediately after that, as per the video on social media, the referee bumped into Tucuman player Guillermo Acosta. He showed a yellow card to Acosta. It seemed Acosta said something and the duo again bumped into each other. Espinoza again reached into his pocket and showed the second yellow sending the player off.

A few think Espinoza is by far the worst referee in the Argentina Primera Division. One of them wrote, “He is by far the worst referee in our league, always trying to be the focus of the show. Chiqui needs to do something with these refs, it’s getting stupid.”

Mexico’s referee recently hit the player

Recently, a video emerged on social media from Mexico. The video was from the game between Club America and Club Leon in Liga MX. The video showed the Club Leon players angry at the goal scored by Club America. They surrounded the referee, demanding the VAR review for the goal.

One of the players from Club Leon was too close to the referee, and the referee raised his knee, which got right into the groin of the player. The reports claim Liga MX has opened an investigation against the referee, and there could be repercussions for the referee.
