It’s been a couple of days ever since Wrexham AFC announced their replacement for Rob Lainton. Manchester United and Watford veteran Ben Foster came out of retirement to save the season of the red dragons. Fans couldn’t believe what they were witnessing. Foster has played for Wrexham back in 2005 when they got him on loan from Stoke City. They will be facing York City today, which might be the first match of Foster back in action.
This signing has turned many fans’ frowns into a smile. Losing Rob Lainton became a huge problem for the team, as it was clear they need a replacement for the rest of the season. Rob has carried the team throughout this season, helping them be the no. 1 seed in the league. Against Bromley, Lainton sustained a season-ending injury and fans had no idea who will fill the spot of a great goalkeeper.

They are so prevalent at the football club, they are always there… it’s not like a plaything, they want to be a part of it. We can get matchday vlogs back! We’re going to need to see if we can get things like GoPros in the goal.”
