However, it has been revealed that they attempted to reconcile before they officially announced their breakup.

The couple had been together for eight years and had two children. They were one of the most popular celebrity couples and fans were shocked when they announced their split in June 2022. It was later revealed that they had split three months earlier but were keeping it under wraps.

Shakira and Pique split in March 2022. At the time, it was not made public in the media and only people close to them knew about it. This was a cause of growing tensions between the couple and both of them called quits.

However, a month later in April, according to recent reports, both of them tried to give this a second chance and reconciled. On May 1, Shakira was also present in Barcelona’s match to support her boyfriend. As we all know, things didn’t work out as the ex-Barcelona star had already moved on to the 23-year-old PR student, Clara Chia.

The reconciliation didn’t just fail but also put a lot of strain on their relationship. And in the end, it led to their official break-up which was announced in June. It’s clear that the couple tried to make things work, but it just wasn’t meant to be.

Gerard Pique seems to have fully moved on from his relationship with the Colombian singer. He is now dating Clara Chia Marti, a PR student. The two have been seen together on several occasions, and Pique seems to be very happy in this new relationship.

Meanwhile, there had been rumors about Shakira dating a surfing trainer; however, these claims have been denied by her. Shakira has instead directed her attention to her sons Sasha and Milan, taking them out on various activities.
