2024 just keeps getting better for Caitlin Clark. Following her unparalleled achievements in NCAA basketball, Clark was the number 1 pick in the WNBA Draft and Indiana Fever waited no time in selecting the former Iowa Hawkeyes #22. For the special occasion, Clark sizzled in a Prada outfit. Notably, this is the first time Prada has dressed a star for the NBA or WNBA draft. The dress was worthy of a superstar athlete like the 22-year-old and was one even USWNT icon Alex Morgan couldn’t stop drooling at.

Through her Instagram story, Alex Morgan shared her appreciation for Clark’s classy attire. She uploaded the basketball star’s post and captioned it “Fit” with a fire emoji. Hence, it’s safe to say that Morgan was a fan of the outfit. Clark arrived at the WNBA draft in a satin mini-skirt and jacket set paired with a shimmering silver tube top. She complemented the Prada ensemble with a black pump heel and a black Prada purse.

For the former Iowa Hawkeyes star, playing in the WNBA has been a longtime dream. Ahead of the draft, she had said, “This is a dream, this is something I wrote down on a piece of paper when I was in, like, second grade. Get a basketball scholarship. Play in the WNBA. This is something I’ve always wanted to do.” Being the leading point-scorer in NCAA basketball, expectations are high for Caitlin Clark. However, she had her fair share of critics who slammed her for finishing her college career without a single NCAA championship. However, Alex Morgan doesn’t agree with such claims and recently paid a touching tribute to the basketball sensation.

Alex Morgan labels Caitlin Clark as a ‘game-changer’ following final NCAA match

Alex Morgan is an admirer of not just Clark’s stylish outfits but her mesmerizing talent on the court as well. Recently, the Iowa Hawkeyes came up short against South Carolina in the NCAA championship final. This also ended up being Clark’s farewell game for the Hawkeyes. While the final result was disappointing, USWNT icon Alex Morgan led the tributes for the 22-year-old. Through her Instagram, the NWSL star wrote, “Changed The Game Forever.”

Considering her achievements on the field, it is hard to disagree with Morgan. Notably, Clark is the Hawkeyes’ all-time leader in scoring and assists. Furthermore, she is the only player in NCAA history with three 40-point games. As such, Clark’s legacy in the game is secure. But, the jump from NCAA basketball to WNBA won’t be easy and it will be interesting to see how Clark adapts. Regardless, Indiana Fever will be happy as they have a trailblazer of the sport in the squad.
