USWNT Superstar Alex Morgan Shared a 7-Word Reaction to LeBron James Following Record-Breaking Night in the NBA

NBA legend LeBron James created history on Wednesday when he became the all-time NBA top scorer. It came in a game between the La Lakers and Oklahoma City. He went past fellow NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the third quarter when he touched 38,388 points.  

 The whole world praised the NBA legend for the record. USWNT star forward Alex Morgan hailed the NBA legend by sharing a seven-word message on Twitter. However, James’ record didn’t prevent the Lakers from losing. The Lakers went down 130-133 on their home turf. James scored a game-high 38 points.

Morgan tweeted, “You cannot deny this greatness. Congrats KingJames,” replying to a tweet by the official NBA handle. USWNT star, who started a media company TOGETHXR with WNBA superstar Sue Bird, Olympic gold medalist swimmer Simone Manuel, and Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim back in 2021.

TOGETHXR will tell stories of women’s stories from sports and outside sports. The company resembles LeBron James’ Uninterrupted, founded back in 2014. He launched the company with his childhood friend and business partner, Maverick Carter. Uninterrupted has told stories of athletes from their perspective since its launch, and TOGETHXR aims at the same with a focus on women.

Back in 2019, when USWNT won its fourth World Cup, King James imitated the tea-sipping celebration of Alex Morgan to congratulate the team on its achievement. Morgan did the celebration during a win against England in the tournament. Although Morgan didn’t score in the final, James hit her celebration after the team won the final.

Morgan is part of the SheBelieves Cup roster for USWNT. The tournament will start on February 16 of this month and includes Brazil, Japan, and Canada. USWNT will kick off their campaign against Canada and will hope to win a record sixth and consecutive fourth title this year. Other soccer stars who hailed the NBA legend for his high-scoring feat in NBA included the likes of Kylian Mbappe and David Beckham. 

Morgan recently slammed NWSL for delaying the schedule

The NWSL schedule has finally come up, but fans and NWSL players slammed the league for delaying the schedule again this year. Alex Morgan was the one who voiced her opinion, asking when the schedule will be released.

Everyone was expecting the schedule to come early, as it is a World Cup year. The new NWSL season will start on March 25. Morgan, who won NWSL Golden Boot last season, will hope to continue her goal-scoring form this year to help USWNT win World Cup and SheBelieves Cup.
