A few days ago, the Blues? fans ripped their owner, Todd Boehly, apart. The simple reason is that even after spending over $600 million this season, the team still cannot produce a win. Aubameyang joined Chelsea before this season began. At that time, Thomas Tuchel was still on the job and he reportedly asked for Aubameyang. However, after the manager changed, Aubameyang has just struggled to just get through an entire soccer game. The majority of the fans have slated the Gabonese star for looking complacent and disinterested.
Aubameyang managed to just score one goal in his eleven Premier League appearances at the club. The fans pretty much knew his time at the club had ended after he was taken off as a substitute against Manchester City. After shining brightly at Arsenal and creating his own legacy, the next two moves to Barcelona and Chelsea have not worked out even the slightest. The jury is still out there on whether the Gabonese star has it in him to compete at the highest level. However, a move to America with much lesser pressure may help the lost soccer soul thrive again.
