It was a night to remember for Stephen Curry. The player put in a top-notch performance as he led his side to an important victory. He had a record 50-point performance against the Kings. Aside from playing a good game, he also took a jab at Sacramento’s signature “Light the Beam” rally call.

Following a late fourth-quarter timeout, Curry slammed the ball onto the court and imitated slamming the button that lights up the beam outside the Golden 1 Center. His gesture was, of course, caught on cameras as it went viral on the net.

Aside from netizens reacting to the epic roast, US soccer star Megan Rapinoe was also impressed with the jab. The OL Reign forward shared the clip of Curry’s moment on her Instagram story and wrote a hilarious caption. “PETTY KINGS. Nobody troll better than these dubs.”

The forward tucked in her 13th penalty-kick goal of all time, thus setting a new league record. Now, the USWNT star has 48 goals all-time in the regular season. Indeed, it is quite a number to achieve for Rapinoe. But after playing the draw, the Reign have handed a major boost to their rivals. Either way, they’ll be looking to get back on track in the next fixture.
