His daughter with Michelle, Trinity Rodman, is one of the best players in USWNT right now. The soccer player had earlier spoken about how she was never close to her father but reconciled their relationship recently. And for Mother’s Day, Rodman shared a heartwarming story on Instagram for her mother. 

Amidst Rodman’s earlier interview, where he explained how he “never wanted to be a father,” it became heartwarming to see Trinity give her respects to her mother, Michelle Rodman.

Trinity shared a picture of her mother in her Instagram story. She captioned, “More importantly happy Mother’s Day to this gem who’s been my rock forever and continues to amaze me with her drive to become a happier and stronger individual @michelle.rodman.” After spending a lot of time with her mother, Dennis Rodman once surprised her during her soccer team’s playoffs against the North Carolina Courage. It was surely a wonderful moment. 

After their failed marriage, Dennis and Michelle stayed in different homes as the kids came in to meet him on the weekends. According to HITC, Trinity Rodman had earlier stated, “My dad doesn’t play a big role in my life at all and most people don’t know that, we don’t see eye to eye on many things. I go months, if not years, without his presence or communication.”

But having him at her soccer playoffs game was truly important for her. The controversial Dennis was never a family man, as he once explained why he never wanted to be a father.

Although he loves having children, Dennis once admitted how he never wanted to be a father. Dennis mentioned, “I never wanted to be a father, but I love having kids. I think about them so much.” Therefore, things were never alright within the Rodman family. But now, Trinity is surely bridging the roots closer to her heart. She now has a better relationship with her father. 

The sensational Trinity became the youngest player to be ever drafted in the NWSL. She is one of the best players in the squad and looks to be the torchbearer for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The Rodman legacy keeps flying high.
