Rodman sat down with PEOPLE recently and spoke about various aspects of her life, including the social media pressure. Rodman, in her spare time, creates content for her followers and likes to be in touch with them regularly. When asked about the social media pressure, the Spirit forward said, “I’m very big on connecting with followers, fans, and just overall different people.”

Like other famous athletes, Rodman, who amassed over 160,000 followers, also has to deal with negativity over social media. She added, “I think it’s inevitable. Everyone’s going to have their opinions. But I think whatever they decide to put out, that’s what makes them, them.”

“Still being as young as I am, I would go through my comments and see not-so-positive ones and it would upset me,” she said. “I’ve learned to just be confident in myself and be proud of everything that I do,” Rodman added.
