Negativity upsets Trinity Rodman
Spirit forward sat down with the PEOPLE recently. She spoke about various aspects like social media and comparisons with her father. The USWNT striker is an active social media user in her spare time and keeps sharing content with her followers. She did receive negative comments and sometimes feels upset over those comments.
Rodman said, “Still being as young as I am, I would go through my comments and see not-so-positive ones, and it would upset me. I’ve learned to just be confident in myself and be proud of everything that I do.” The 20-year-old feels it’s challenging to deal with negativity.
“There’s going to be people out there that have their opinions and don’t agree with what you put out, but I think it’s just staying true to yourself and putting out what you want others to see,” Rodman added while speaking on how she handles the upsetting comments over social media.
The Spirit striker is with USWNT after starting the NWSL season on high. She scored a winner in the first game for Spirit. Rodman assisted in the second game that saw Spirit earn a valuable draw.
Social media pressure is inevitable, according to Rodman

Rodman also spoke of the social media pressure after getting into the limelight. She feels that it is inevitable. The soccer starlet has amassed over 162,000 followers on Instagram, and the number is increasing every day.
She is keen on connecting with her followers and fans. Rodman feels differences in opinions are what leads to social media pressure and accepts it. The daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman seems to have learned to handle the negativity and pressure of social media.
