NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was present for a charity fundraiser in Las Vegas last week. While talking about the event, Shaq was asked to share his thoughts on the release of David Beckham’s new Netflix docuseries. The NBA icon was full of praise for the Englishman and his wife as he lauded them for their efforts.

“The Netflix series, kudos to him and his lovely wife, are sharing their secrets. A lot of times a lot of people go through things and they just hold them in. But for him to share his story with the world, I thought that was big of him.” (quotes complied by The Mirror).

Fans have widely appreciated the release of David Beckham’s new docuseries. The show focuses on the life of the English soccer star’s rise as one of the best soccer stars in the world. The series also highlights the ups and downs the couple had along the ride throughout their relationship. With the release of the docuseries, David Beckham is now amongst the likes of Michael Jordan and others who have a Netflix special centered around them.

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was present at Las Vegas’s MGM Grand last weekend as he hosted his annual fundraiser. During the charity auction from the event, Shaq splurged a massive $20000 to buy box tickets to John Legend’s concert for his mother. Following the show, the former Lakers star also took to his social media to thank the singer for his mesmerizing performance.

According to reports, apart from his $20000 gift for his mother, the NBA icon also bid $50000 to win a trip to Bora Bora. He has put in a lot of effort to raise money as part of his fundraisers. His first fundraiser back in 2021 raised a whopping $2.9 million while the second fundraiser last year saw his team raise $3.15 million.
