Currently, the NBA finals are at a very heart-dropping stage. Tied at 1-1, Butler’s Heat won the most recent game which was a nail-biter too. With a 108 – 111 scoreline, collective efforts from Gabe Vincent, Bam Adebayo, and Jimmy Butler were enough to withstand the 41-pointer by Nikola Jokic. But the Heat forward was in the news for different reasons.

Hours before Game 1, Butler publicly asked for his close friend’s support. But Neymar surprisingly snubbed his request as he was seemingly already going to Spain. A week later, the soccer veteran makes a trip to America. He then takes to Instagram to motivate Butler. The Brazilian icon posts a picture of himself in the NBA building. In the caption of the post, he wrote, “Go get it 22”.

By 22, he meant to point out Butler’s jersey number. He also then posted one of his pictures on the court at the Kaseya Center. While holding the ball of the NBA final, he wrote, “Neymar’s here!” Without a doubt, the PSG star is trying his best to make up for his absence during the last few games.

Hours before Game 1 of the NBA finals, Butler made mention of Neymar in an interview. He assured the fanbase that the PSG winger would be there to support him. He insistingly said, “So Ney, I know you’re looking somewhere. You’d better be there. He’s obviously a close friend of mine, so I pay attention to him a lot. But with him in my corner, I think I’ll be okay”.
