Just days ago, the Colombian singer become the first-ever ‘Latin Woman of the Year’.

However, her acceptance speech is gathering quite a lot of unwanted attention. Her empowering words have reportedly triggered a serious reaction from one of her ex-partners.

Her words were mainly surrounding women’s empowerment and infidelity. However, her words on infidelity have reportedly triggered Antonio de la Rua. Antonio de la Rua dated Shakira for ten years before Gerard Pique walked into her life. Around 2010, the singer was reportedly in a secret relationship with Pique already. She was hellbent on spending the rest of her life with the soccer veteran.

Despite being engaged, Antonio de la Rua had no choice but to part ways with her. Reportedly, after spending ample time with the Hollywood star, the 46-year-old went out for dinner with Lewis Hamilton. Paparazzi pictured the two of them at the Cipriani restaurant in Miami. The Latin American singer had sported a black dress for the unofficial dinner date. However, neither of them has made a comment on the same, as of now.
