Mbappe was a VIP guest for Ferrari and paid a visit to Barcelona for the Spanish GP. Before entering the paddock, reporters asked him to predict about UEFA Champions League final. The PSG superstar replied, “It’s going to be a great game, I’m going to watch it. I think Man City are going to win!” Looking at the form of City, it is a wise choice for the World Cup winner. Whether his prediction comes true remains to be seen.

Mbappe had a dismal Champions League campaign with PSG. They bowed out in the round of 16 to Bundesliga giant Bayern Munich. What made the defeat worse was PSG going goalless in both legs. Since the QSI takeover, winning the Champions League has been the dream. They made massive signings so far to achieve their dreams but failed miserably. The closest they came was in 2020 when they lost to Bayern Munich in the final.
