Cristiano Ronaldo is heading to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup as he looks forward to bringing another silverware to Portugal. He struggled during the World Cup qualifiers but managed to qualify for Qatar WC. Ronaldo isn’t in great form either, but he will have his family cheering for him during the competition. His girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, has been with him through thick and thin alongside his family members.

CR7 and Georgina have been in a relationship for more than six years now. Many of their fans are looking forward to their wedding, but the couple is yet to plan for the big event.

Manchester United star Ronaldo has been open about his thoughts on marrying Georgina. He once said that it is his mom’s dream to see the couple get married. He later reiterated that he will ‘1000%’ marry Georgina and it could be soon.

“It could be in a year, or it could be in six months or in a month. I’m 1000 percent sure it will happen,” Ronaldo said.

Georgina, who is a mother, an influencer, and a businesswoman, wishes to marry his long-term boyfriend. However, there isn’t much news regarding their marriage. But the couple hopes it would be soon. Georgina recently admitted in her documentary that the marriage is not in her hands.

Netflix released the ‘I am Georgina‘ documentary earlier this year, which covers the life of Georgina Rodriguez. In the documentary, Georgina is asked by her friends about her wedding plans with Cristiano.

“It doesn’t depend on me… I wish,” Georgina answered.

She continued: “To be honest, I don’t think our situation would change drastically because I feel really loved. I have what matters the most with Cristiano. Our wonderful kids and the love I get from him every day. Doesn’t matter.”

“No, I don’t have space for any more rings,” she joked with her friends.

Georgina also added that her friends have been teasing her through Jennifer Lopez’s song ‘The Ring’.

“They are always joking about the wedding. ‘When’s the wedding?’ Ever since Jennifer Lopez put out that song about ‘The Ring’. My god, they’re always singing a tune,” she added.

Rodriguez gave birth to their first child in 2017, a daughter named Alana. The couple has another daughter together named Bella. Cristiano has five children with three born through surrogacy. The happy family lives together and has been planning to stay together in Portugal after Cristiano’s retirement.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly has a mansion built in Lisbon, where he plans to live post-retirement. Georgina also feels it is a comfortable place to stay for the Ronaldo family once the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner hangs up his boots.
