In the last few months, Shakira has constantly been the talk of the town for her diss tracks. She has also received an unbelievable amount of support from popular people across various industries as well. It is safe to say that the singer has the majority of the fanbase on her side, as compared to Gerard Pique. But there’s one person who hasn’t turned ‘Team Shakira’ yet.

His comments raised quite a few eyebrows on social media. Nobody could quite understand the timing or meaning of his statements.
What did Andrew Tate comment about Shakira?
Almost everyone in the music and soccer industry is aware of the Shakira–Pique saga. The controversy reached another level after the Colombian singer released the diss tracks aimed at the former Barcelona star. Those diss tracks have severely dented the reputation of Pique and his family. The soccer veteran and his close ones have now become a laughingstock on social media.
I’ve seen her face 10,000 times but for some reason I’m not sure what Shakira looks like.
I know that sounds strange.
I feel like I could walk past her on the street and not recognise her at all.

The fans had pretty much forgotten about Andrew Tate in the last few months. A few months ago, Tate had interacted with the soccer universe after he revealed his thoughts on the Ronaldo–Messi debate. Well, he is back in the soccer limelight after taking a random dig at Gerard Pique’s ex Shakira.
He quoted, “I’ve seen her face 10,000 times but for some reason, I’m not sure what Shakira looks like. I know that sounds strange. I feel like I could walk past her on the street and not recognise her at all.” The fans are still trying to figure out Tate’s intent behind his comments. One thing is seemingly quite evident, he isn’t ‘Team Shakira.
Tate has been out of the limelight for the last few months. The former kickboxer has just spent a few months in prison, but why?
Is Andrew Tate a free man now?
On March 31, the authorities shifted Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan from a three-month period in jail in Romania to house arrest. The Romanian authorities arrested Tate and his brother for “forming an organised criminal group, human trafficking and rape”, as per Le Monde. Both brothers have rightfully denied all the charges. After their release from prison, Tate did not make a comment in front of the cameras.

His brother, Tristan, commented that he felt that the judges have made “the right decision” as he was “an innocent man”. But the courts have strictly ordered the brothers to not “leave their home without prior approval from judicial authorities”. Even though Tate has a restriction on his physical movement in public areas, he is seemingly back on track with his controversial opinions after he took a random dig at the Shakira–Pique controversy.
