In April 2021, Jake Paul surprised the world when he took to social media wearing a Liverpool shirt and showing support for the Merseyside team. Ever since, the then-undefeated boxer has been a constant supporter of the soccer club, supporting the team on social media before various matches.

Liverpool hasn’t been in the best form in recent times and one fan took to Twitter saying, “Liverpool haven’t been the same since…” while showing the picture of Jake Paul in a Liverpool jersey. While it is a bizarre speculation, there’s some truth to it.

Ever since Jake Paul started supporting the team, Liverpool went on to lose their Champions League final to Real Madrid. Also this season, the team is performing poorly, sitting in 9th position in the Premier League, which is a far cry from their earlier season in which the club finished in second position.
