Soccer pundits and fans alike are always on the quest to rank the best number nine in the world. The likes of Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski, and Victor Osimhen dominate every other discussion on the world’s best striker. Despite boasting an impressive resume, Karim Benzema is not enjoying the same recognition as others lately. It is perhaps because the Al Ittihad star is not playing in Europe anymore. However, for the to-be Real Madrid player Endrick, Benzema boasts all ‘the qualities to be the perfect striker,’ like no other.
Endrick is now close to occupying a position in Real Madrid, which Benzema had dominated for a long time. For a young striker who aspires to join Real Madrid, Benzema is nothing but a textbook.

In a recent interview with Marca, Endrick spoke about his imminent Real Madrid switch. Being a striker himself, the 17-year-old gave flowers to Luis Suarez- a complete striker of the game. Soon, the interviewer asked the Brazilian who he considered the best striker. Endrick did not think twice. “Karim Benzema has all the qualities to be the perfect striker, although he is currently in Saudi Arabia, he played for Real Madrid for many years. He knows how to understand the game perfectly. He is a spectacular player in every way. The best striker in the world for a long time,” he said.

Endrick further added that he respects Erling Haaland and Harry Kane. According to him, they too have the qualities of a lethal striker. Anyhow, the Brazilian’s massive praise of Benzema is indeed fitting, to say the least. In a Real Madrid dominated by the likes of Raul Garcia and Alfredo Di Stefano, Karim Benzema became the club’s second-top scorer of all time. Even after leaving Madrid, the 36-year-old still continues his top form as a number 9. Al Ittihad, the striker, has registered nine goals in 14 appearances. Endrick, however, is not giving the veteran a shout-out for the first time.

Endrick once acknowledged this and said Benzema ‘took things to his own hands after Ronaldo left.’ According to the to-be Madrid star, the world saw a different version of Benzema.
