American tennis player Venus Williams has been making the most of her time lately. As the season is over, she is using this time to rejuvenate for the upcoming season. At the moment, Venus is in Paris and exploring the city to the fullest.

Speaking of the French capital, it has been a frequent destination for Venus as the Roland Garros is held there. She recently uploaded a few pictures from France on social media. Interestingly, there were a few comments by players like Coco Gauff and Reilly Opelka.

Opelka and Gauff comment on Venus Williams’ post

The American teenager stated, “So much fun playing with you!!” Even the big man, Opelka, commented, “I love that Harold.” Harold is the name of Venus’ dog, who featured in one of the pictures.

The 17-year-old player partnered with Williams at this season’s doubles competition at the French Open. Opelka was most recently seen attending the screening of the movie King Richard, which was based on the life of the Williams family.

Coming back to Venus, she was happy to be in the French capital. She posted pictures along with the caption that stated, “Being in France reminds me of my French Open memories. Picking a few to share from this year.” Williams has never won the French Open, but she did reach the final in 2002.

Reflecting on 2021, Williams had a below-par season this year. She lost in the second round at the Australian Open. At Roland Garros, she lost in the opening round and lost in the second round at the Wimbledon Championships.

Sadly, she could not compete at the US Open this year due to a leg injury. We wish her all the best in getting back to full fitness. It will be interesting to see where the 7-time Grand Slam champion begins her 2022 season.
