The Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at the Staples Center. After a disappointing loss vs the OKC Thunder last time, the Lakers needed a bounce-back win. After a closely contested game, the Lakers were able to come out on top, spurred by the return of LeBron James. The King missed the two previous games due to ankle soreness, but was able to make an immediate impact on return.
The Lakers had a rocky start to the game, with 15 turnovers in just the first half. They looked disorganized on both ends and the Cavs made them pay for it. But a quick recovery helped the Lakers to go tied at the break. An improved effort in the second half, and some clutch plays on both ends, sealed the win for the purple and gold.

Following the game, Lakers fans took to Twitter to express their relief over the win. The Lakers never looked comfortable with any lead, but came out on top at the final buzzer. LeBron and Carmelo Anthony were the stars of the show, with Melo proving once again that he should have never been out of the league.
Laker fans yall better pay homage at the temple of Melo tonight.

Easy schedule looking far from easy for the Lakers
When the Lakers schedule came out, there were predictions they could potentially start their season 10-0. However, they started 0-2, and then went on to record another surprising loss vs OKC, to make it just two wins out of their first five games. Tonight was their third win of the season, but none of them so far have been easy ones.
The Lakers‘ new setup has been put to the test every game. So it has been far from an easy schedule for them so far. Their next two games are against another team, the Rockets. And they will be heavy favorites to come out with two wins out of two.

There have been evident cracks in their game, but fans are hoping they are fixed as the season goes on. Chemistry issues, defense, rotations, are some of their major problems which could make or break their playoff campaign. Many critics are unconvinced by the team so far. But only time will tell if they are able to get it together, or face another playoff embarrassment like last season.
