Tottenham has turned a new leaf under Ange Postecoglou. Despite losing their biggest star, Harry Kane, last summer the side has maintained their spot among the top four teams in the league. However, despite their success, the team is yet to convince ex-Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson. The United legend took shots at the Postecoglou’s-men in an interview with Sky Sports, claiming the side had no chance of winning the Premier League before his former club. Talk about a burn!
However, while Sir Alex might have not minced his words when taking a shot at Tottenham, his former employers aren’t faring any better. United has had a rough season with the side currently placed sixth in the league standings. To add more to their woes, the club had a disastrous UEFA Champions League campaign with the side crashing out of the competition during the group stages.

Alex Ferguson quickly snubbed Sky Sports presenter Matt Chapman during a recent interview when the latter enquired him about Spurs’ chances of winning the Premier League. Sir Alex chuckled at Chapman’s question claiming, “When was the last time they won it? That’s a long time. But the opposition today with Liverpool and Man City being so powerful in the Premier League, even for United, we’re having to fight.”

Postecoglou stated, “A supercomputer! Does it go to a phone booth and change into something else from just a normal computer? What did it say, 0.1%? So we got a chance then. Let’s go for it. No problems, no issues with that. We’ve got a chance!”
Big Ange has been applauded for his work with Tottenham this season. Tottenham has bagged 14 wins from their 24 league outings. The team is currently placed 4th in the standings with 47 points to their name and is seven points behind league leaders Liverpool.
