PV Sindhu started off 2016 on a triumphant note as she clinched her second Malaysian Open Grand Prix Gold title. The lanky Indian beat Scottish star Kirsty Gilmour 21-15,21-9 in the finals in Penang to clinch her 5th GPG level title. This win comes on the back of an undefeated Premier Badminton League season for Sindhu. The two time World Championship bronze medal list displayed amazing maturity to counter the 2014 CWG silver medalist’s determination and shrewdness.
