The legendary quarterback is an integral part of the NFL, having graced the Green Bay Packers for a record 17 seasons. Now, the experienced campaigner is with New York Jets.

Recently, the SB champion got a bit emotional as he spoke to sports commentator Peter Schrager. Sharing some glaring insights from his upbringing to expressing a deep desire, the Second Team All-Pro 2012 winner touched all bases. During the NFL Total Access interview, there was a fresh-looking Rodgers who gave a heartfelt personal account of playing for the Jets. Given how goal-oriented A-Rod is, he provided his next set of objectives in the course of the interaction.

The 4X NFL Most Valuable Player shared loads of personal stuff this week. Speaking on the sidelines with Peter Schrager on NFL Total Access, the quarterback revealed some interesting information. On being asked about how Rodgers felt about New York City, the seasoned performer quipped, “I’m having a blast, I grew up in a small town in Northern California. I’ve dreamed since I was a kid of being in a big city.”

A smile emerged on the Jets QB as he detailed his childhood dream. He further added that he’s loving the East Coast and meeting great individuals throughout the city. He showed gratefulness to get an opportunity to play at the Jets after being at Packers all throughout his career.

Peter Schrager highlighted the mixture of youth and experience at Jets training sessions. Rodgers, being the senior, shares his experience and game awareness with the youngsters. Appreciating the communication between offense and defense of the side, Rodgers stressed that he led by example.

The 10X Pro Bowl winner complimented the skill sets. Stating the same, he said “We also want to grow together. How are we going to do that? ….So let’s make it as hard as possible on each other”

Rodgers is absolutely loving his time at the Jets. Through this light-hearted interview, he has completed his childhood dream. Being the experienced player and donning the mentor’s hat for the side, A-Rod is doing his bit to help his side starting on a winning note.
