Call of Duty: Warzone has been a revelation for the battle royale genre since its release last month. Although the game has encountered some recent issues from server lags to stuttering to booming cheaters, the game’s overall popularity hasn’t taken a hit, as players still keep flocking to the game. Many significant gaming influencers in the online gaming community still live-stream the game regularly. Even online tournaments such as Warzone Wednesdays keep on coming.
Warzone Wednesdays is a weekly gaming tournament series initiated by YouTube sensation Daniel “Keemstar” Keem. It features 32 of the biggest stars in the field of gaming, pitting them against one another. As a part of the KeemPark project alongside eFuse, Warzone Wednesday is hosted by Keemstar. The competition continues to be one of the most popular events on Twitch, with viewership crossing the 100k mark.
In last week’s tournament, Vikkstar123 and his teammate Itz_WarsZ emerged as the victors and took home the reward of $20,000. DrDisrespect and Ninja also teamed up together in Week 6 of the tournament. The tournaments have been going on a weekly basis for the last two months, and Week 7 of the series is set to begin tomorrow. Keemstar has a massive surprise for the forthcoming 7th weekly edition.

Sixteen duos compete against each other in a bracket format to get the most number of kills. 2 duos play as one four-man squad in a game of Warzone, and whichever pair secures the most number of kills proceeds to the next round. The team with lesser kills drops down to the loser’s bracket, where they get another chance to try to secure more kills than their opponents to win.
Keemstar live-streams the event on his Twitch channel if you prefer commentary alongside the gameplay. Moreover, each streamer shows their POV of the matches on their respective channels on their respective platforms. Shroud will live-stream his POV on Mixer.
