Garrett Smithley contends in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 51/53 Chevrolet Camaro for Rick Ware Racing. He also competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 07 Camaro for SS-Green Light Racing. Smithley has additionally contended in the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series and ARCA Racing Series.
Niece Motorsports reported Wednesday that Garrett Smithley will make his debut for the group on May 26, at Charlotte Motor Speedway when the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series resumes racing.
Smithley drove the No. 40 Trophy Tractor Chevrolet Silverado in his ninth profession start in a Truck, with the latest being a fifteenth spot finish in March 2019 at Texas.

Smithley will no longer contend in the Cup series. The reason for this is to focus on the Xfinity series. Bob Pockrass has given the information about this through twitter. He was one of the contenders for the Rookie of the year award.

He drove for the Niece Motorsports in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200. Smithley started on the 24th position on the grid. However, His debut race for the team was an unpleasant one.

He crashed out of the race on the 105th lap. Garrett Smithley finished the race in the 36th position.
Chase Elliott ended Kyle Busch’s seven-race streak in Truck series. He won the $100,000 bounty by beating NASCAR’s best truck driver on Tuesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

However, Elliott took the rivalry with Kyle Busch to the next level. He used Busch’s celebratory bow after the race. Chase Elliott has earned yet another epithet Tuesday night – the Bounty Hunter. Although, the cash goes to a foundation based on Elliott’s personal preference, profiting COVID-19 alleviation.
