“Happy holidays everyone !!!” posted an excited White.
Just the thought of welcoming a little one to that family gave a great start to the holiday season for White.
“So excited to be spending it with family and loved ones, and even more excited that my sister will be adding a baby BOY to our family. Best Christmas gift ever.”
His sister surprised them by baking a baby-shaped cake, which led them to the great news. White looked quite shocked while holding the cake, clearly jumping in joy from inside.
Shaun White had a rough school life
Before graduating from California’s Carlsbad High School, White attended Torrey Pines High School in San Diego. The athlete did not go to college, the reason behind this was his busy professional schedule to be an elite.
But school life, according to White, has not been very fruitful with his reserved demeanour. The athlete received sponsorships and traveled a lot since seven. This is why White had less time to spend time with kids his age and explore his introverted self. The athlete’s shyness was mistaken as arrogance by his classmates.
“I started to travel the world at a young age and was sponsored from the age of seven,” said the Olympic champion.

“That’s when you realize how harsh kids can be. At school, everyone assumed I was a jerk, or up myself, but I was just shy.”
While other children were trying to learn the basics in school, White started working hard towards becoming a successful skateboarder when he was young.
