We often see dream teams in the Olympics or an All-Star game. Shaquille O’Neal recently put up an Instagram post stating how he wants to create a fantasy dream team. Many of us would have thought about this before. Having a center like Shaq, and adding Curry, LeBron, Durant, and Harden to the mix would mark the start of a dynasty. So how will they line up?

Shaquille O’Neal’s Dream Team
Starting at the center will be the “Big Shamrock” himself. One of the most dominating centers ever in the league, Shaq combined raw power with brute force.
His put-back rebounds were legendary, and he was a defensive monster in the frontcourt. His enormous frame helped him dominate the glass, as well as provide a potent threat at offense.
Furthermore, his post plays are second to none while being a good interior defender inside the paint.
Next, we would have LeBron James in the power forward position. King James will go down as one of the best players in the history of the NBA. Clad with extraordinary athleticism, and a high basketball IQ, James is incredible.
Moreover, he brings insightful leadership to the squad while driving into the lane for a high percentage shot. In addition, he averages 7.9 rebounds per game as it shows the work done by him on the glass.

The Back Court will be Unstoppable
As we move towards the small forward position, Kevin Durant is arguably the favorite to occupy this spot. Having a wingspan of 2.25m, his shooting technique is flawless.
He is adept in layups, mid-range, three-point shooting, and even a good perimeter defender. KD is in the 50/40/90 club this season with averages like 54.4/ 46.9/87.8.
Despite James Harden putting up astronomical numbers, Kobe Bryant will be the obvious pick for this team to start at the shooting guard position. The “Black Mamba” is one of the best players in the league’s history.
His classic layups and the intangibles he possesses are more than enough to warrant his place in the team. Combined with excellent perimeter defending skills, Kobe is arguably the best Laker ever.

Finally, at the point guard position, Stephen Curry is the rightful heir to the throne. Averaging over 31.8 points per game this season, Curry is the best shooter ever in the game’s history. No one comes close to shooting perfect three-pointers as Curry does on the court.

Shooting from half-court with significant ease makes Curry one of the most dangerous players in the league.
This team, combined with a bench of Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, would be unbelievable. Fantasy dream teams are something people would love to see. We never know if it can happen, but it surely is an interesting prospect.
