If there is one act in wrestling that has gone over perfectly in the PG era, it has to be The New Day. Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods have created a brand out of WWE that’s distinct and unique to them. They have their sponsorships, cereals, t-shirts, and everything else. Even when WWE split, The New Day was still alive.

When coming to the wrestling side of things, The New Day is a big success as well. They won the tag titles multiple times over a decade in the company as well as featured in big matches at WrestleMania and SummerSlam. Two members of the group, Big E and Kingston have also become WWE Champions while being in the group.

But one WWE employee had something to say about the extremely popular group recently after their antics

WWE employee points out New Day’s behavior in a hilarious video

In a tweet, Greg Miller, a host for the Ratings Reveal sections for WWE 2K23, revealed that The New Day wasn’t nice or friendly but rude. He captioned his tweet, “This is the video @WWE doesn’t want you to see. You think the New Day is nice? Yeah, right. Shame on you, @AustinCreedWins, @TrueKofi, and @WWEBigE.”

In the video, we can see that Greg Miller calls out to his audience to subscribe to Woods’ YouTube channel, UpUpDownDown. He undermines Woods, but the former tag champion claps back by saying that he is way above Miller now. He calls Miller his student and accuses him of doing Woods’ job. Then the trio makes fun of home which causes Miller to leave.

UpUpDownDown is the gaming channel that is hosted by Woods with a lot of wrestlers coming to play like Seth Rollins, Dakota Kai, and Shayna Baszler, among others.

The New Day are known to rile up their opponents in the ring and were even better at it when they were heels.

Everyone forgot about The New Day’s heel-ish beginnings

When the trio first debuted as The New Day, fans didn’t like it. The fans even turned their chant, ‘New Day Rocks’ to ‘New Day Sucks’ in under a month. This hate pushed the trio to turn heels and help the then-heel figures, The Authority. As they kept doing favors for their bosses, the trio got special attention and the title reigns as well.

In the first-ever tag team Elimination Chamber match, they were allowed by The Authority to enter as a trio while all the other teams were duos. So while they are friendly at this moment, they have a history of being the bad guys as well.
