John Cena is one of the greatest of all time. Apart from all his other characteristics, his mic skills are right there at the top. Something that recently reiterated this was when he clashed against Roman Reigns during a recent segment on SmackDown. The segment pushed boundaries, to say the least. Apparently, Seth Rollins had a funny reaction to the promo.
Roman and Cena took jibes at each other. Both men not only targeted each other in kayfabe but also broke the fourth wall. Roman mentioned Nikki Bella, which got quite the reaction from the crowd. Cena broke the fourth wall as when as he mentioned his Shield Brothers Rollins and Ambrose. While Seth Rollins is still a part of WWE, Ambrose has found tremendous success in AEW as Jon Moxley. Sportskeeda recently asked Rollins during a media call about this and he gave his thoughts on the situation.

Seth stated he heard the comments, and they weren’t true. He also clarified that as someone who understands the business, he knows they did it to pop the crowd. “I had a good chuckle about it,” Rollins said. “John likes to cross some lines occasionally if you look at his history of promos in the ring, especially his face-to-face promos heading into big matches. He likes to cross the line.”

Both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are in intense feuds ahead of SummerSlam
Rolins added that he completely understands breaking the fourth wall to excite the crowd. He stated they are in a business that requires attention to be successful. Everyone who is successful garners attention and Cena is no different. Cena has used the trope of breaking kayfabe in many of his big matches. Seth felt the feud between Cena and Reigns’ boiling right now and hence the name drop.

Seth is currently in a feud against Edge and feels they have great chemistry. He also said the remark about failure is irrelevant, as his fate totally lies in his hands. The Messiah refrained from commenting anything about the Ambrose remark. He also stated he doesn’t feel that he has lost a step, but feels he could do so much more with his character and it’s just the start.
