Serena Williams has always been big on music. Between multitasking as an ace tennis pro, being a doting mother, a caring wife and a busy entrepreneur, she seldom misses out on an opportunity to put her headphones and earbuds on and listen to some of her favorites, that includes R&B star Kelly Rowland and rock band Green Day.

And, in a new advertisement for ?Studio Buds?, a hot new listening piece from Beats Audio, the 23-time Grand Slam champion not only goes at length to explain why people should consider investing in a pair that brings studio-like sound every time one listens through them but also how the buds make her fall back on music all the more.

Serena, who has also lent her voice to the advertisement, says it?s not about the loads of features that the new buds pack but what they do to enhance one?s listening experience that is at the core of the science and tech that has gone into designing them.

Citing the song ?Black Magic? by Rowland, who features at the top of Serena?s playlist, the champion says the ?Studio Buds? bring her soulfully at one with the empowering message that the song tries to convey.

?It?s the music, it?s ?Black Magic? by Kelly Rowland. That?s an incredible message to hear, it?s like finding your own self-worth and owning your womanhood and knowing that you deserve the world.?

Goes without saying that she will take her buds along to Wimbledon where she is bidding to end her prolonged wait for a 24th career Grand Slam title this year.

Her last brush with glory at a Grand Slam was way back in 2017 when she lifted the Australian Open title to go past Steffi Graf?s career haul of 22 Major? championship titles.

Serena will open her Wimbledon campaign against Aliaksandra Sasnovich

Serena reached four Grand Slam finals since but fell at the last hurdle every time.

She was at her menacing best at this year?s Australian Open, reaching the last-four on the back of some typically brutal takedowns.

However, it was in the semifinals that she ran into her modern-day nemesis Naomi Osaka, who beat her in straight sets, making it two out of two over her in Grand Slam tennis.

Even at Roland-Garros, her campaign promised a lot despite the experts not giving her a shout for the title owing to her indifferent run on clay before.
