The GOAT of gymnastics Simone Biles shared an upsetting update just days after her major comeback. The gymnast is once again lined up with her fellow teammates for the upcoming US Nationals events. This should ideally mean training with her fellow WCC gymnasts, one of whom even stepped up to take charge during her twisties setback, winning medals in the 2021 Olympics. To everyone’s surprise, the gymnasts’ schedules are no longer the same.

While Biles supported her tribe throughout her professional hiatus from afar when it was time for her to join them back, her gymnastics schedule didn’t seem to favor them during practice times. Upon learning about their updated schedules, Biles shared a sad story on her social media with fellow gymnasts.

In a recent story LSU star Zoe Miller engaged with her Instagram followers with an ‘Ask me a question’ series. Upon being asked about her favorite gym memory by a fan, she said, “as long as simone and i are at gym, there is never a dull moment. jokes are cracked all day everyday.” Biles was quick to repost the answer to her Stories saying, “always” in big font size along with an excited GIF. She continued to write, “& why’d they put us in different sessions @classics….. they know we got separation anxiety.” It truly was a sad moment for the duo and their fans who enjoyed their true sides on practice videos.

One of the fun aspects of her comeback was the training partnership she had with 2x National Gymnastics Champion, Miller. The two athletes have been seen bonding and working out together in their practice session videos earlier. In a viral video shared on Twitter, Biles was seen placing a silver ribbon in Miller’s hair, showing the two gymnasts’ delightful moment of camaraderie and closeness. A few days back, Biles shared her and Miller’s hilarious behavior at practice.

Biles and Miller train at the World Champions Centre (WCC), a state-of-the-art facility built by Biles where they spent over six and a half hours practicing. The WCC is also home to talented budding athletes like Biles, Miller, Olivia Greaves, and Karis German. This tradition of greatness and shared dedication to the sport surely reminds her fans of the training experiences Biles shared in the past.

Similar to Miller, Jordan Chiles, another ace gymnast, trained at WCC with Biles when she was the same age as Miller (17). Chiles relocated from her native Vancouver, Washington, to train with Biles in 2018 at her facility in Houston. She often shows gratitude for the influence that Biles has had on both her training and her life.

It’s interesting to note that the WCC hosted the most female gymnasts of any gym with four of the eighteen gymnasts that competed in the U.S. Olympic trials in June 2021. This goes on to show how well Biles’s influence shaped the career of her fellow training partners. The gymnastics trio is anticipated to participate in the 2023 U.S. Classic, which is scheduled to take place on August 4-5.?Do you believe in the advantages of inter-athlete mentoring and support?
