Sebastian Vettel is married to his childhood friend, Hanna Prater, who he is said to have first met in 2006. Hanna is a former industrial design student. The pair dated for a long time before deciding to tie the knot in 2019. The two were schoolmates before, and have been living together since 2010.
Their marriage was such a well-kept secret that fans only found out about it when they spotted a wedding ring on his finger, in Canada. However, the ring went missing, later on, in France, which caused a bit of confusion.

Sebastian and Hanna are parents to three daughters. Their eldest daughter, Emilie, was born in 2014. Mathilda, the middle child was born in 2015. The couple recently welcomed their third child, who was born a day before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. . Vettel has always been a family man. He even said that he prefers being called a father and a husband rather than a Formula One driver.

Apart from his family and children, Sebastian Vettel has three siblings- 2 sisters and one brother, Fabian, who is a racing driver as well. Over the course of multiple interviews in the initial phase of his career, Vettel has mentioned that he was terrible at school and never managed good grades. Apart from idolizing Michael Schumacher and wanting to be a racer, he also fancied Michael Jackson but very soon realized singing was not one of his talents.
The German is also a pet-parent to a dog, which he, surprisingly, revealed in an interview.
