During sporting events, every athlete see each other as fierce rivals and nothing else. However, when the gloves are off, all rivalries are instantly forgotten and they view each other as friends. In Formula One, some rivalries can transcend the race track and into their personal lives, if Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are any proof.
On the subject of Lewis Hamilton though, he and Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel are huge rivals on the circuit. However, when the race is over, the two get along swimmingly, and for the lack of a better word, are practically ‘bros’.

After the Singapore Grand Prix concluded, Vettel emerged as the winner, ending a 392-day dry run. While the German was in an interview in the media pen, 4th-placed Lewis Hamilton came up and congratulated him personally. The two ended the greeting with a hug, although Vettel did forget what he was trying to say afterwards.

Sebastian Vettel was speaking to Sky Sports at the time, about his long absence from the top step of the podium. He said, “Maybe I’m not clever enough to look back that much, Even though I’m able to count, I didn’t really count. You alway look forward to the next one obviously, I’m not so happy with the…”.
At this point, Hamilton interrupted the conversation to convey his congratulations to Vettel.
