Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel was over the moon when he and his wife Hanna Prater welcomed a baby boy earlier today. Prior to their marriage earlier this year, Vettel and his wife had two daughters, and will now welcome a new member to the family.
Of course, the new father-to-be was not present at the circuit, as he left to be at his wife’s side. This welcome piece of news has been one of the few bright sparks in a difficult weekend for Sebastian Vettel.
Congratulations to Sebastian and his wife for the birth of their third child – a baby boy! 👶🏼🥰
Due to the birth of his child, Seb won't be at the circuit today and he will therefore not attend any media sessions. #Vettel #Seb5 #F1

The Ferrari driver got into trouble with the team after he and teammate Charles Leclerc took each other out of the race in Brazil. This silly incident resulted in a surefire podium being thrown away and a furious Ferrari team.
For their troubles, Vettel and Leclerc were summoned to the headquarters in Maranello to explain themselves and apologise. Now, the Ferrari team head to the final race of the season with the aim to put their woes behind and focus on the task at hand.
Hopefully for their sake, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc will stay out of each other’s way and end the season on a high note. Then, there will be the task of looking ahead to the 2020 season on a blank slate and challenge Mercedes and see off Red Bull’s charge.

It will be a difficult situation as Mattia Binotto will have to rein in two top class drivers. As the unwritten rule goes, “The team comes first, before the drivers”.
Now, the real questions are, can Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc prevent Lewis Hamilton from equalling Michael Schumacher? Can both drivers get along on the track and work as a team? Will their Brazilian GP crash be the last time they crash into each other? Only time and the 2020 season will tell.
