The game between Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks in Cleveland on Sunday came to an extremely close finish. In the end, it was about a penalty that was given by the referees during the game to a blindside block by Jarvis Laundy- a decision that was criticised by many.
?The refs are never an excuse. I will probably get fined for saying this, but it was pretty bad today,” said Brown’s quarterback Baker Mayfield on the penalty decision. “The guy is squared up with him, running at him and he is lowering his head into Jarvis. What is [Landry] supposed to do? Avoid him? This is not bullfighting. I don?t know. It ticks me off.?

This was not even close to a blindside block by Jarvis Landry. Refs hate the Browns so much pic.twitter.com/AwsseApyfs

Not his fault on this play but this is the 3rd INT for Baker Mayfield today.
He now leads the league with 11 INTs in 6 games. He passed Brandon Weeden’s 2012 mark of 10 INTs in 6 games for Browns QBs.pic.twitter.com/56oZDSTrHW

Of course, this game isn’t over. Baker might pass Weeden if he throws more INTs in the second half. https://t.co/yy9GBu7HTt

Wow. Utterly terrible illegal blocking call on Jarvis Landry. Nothing illegal about it. As Chris Meyers just said ?overofficiated.? That called effectively ended the Browns? drive. That sort of obviously blown call can?t happen at the NFL level.
