It has been an outstanding season for Mohamed Salah and it shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. The Liverpool forward was recently recognized by the Premier League as the Player Of The Season.

In his debut campaign, the Egyptian scored 32 goals in 38 league games, which in itself is a record of its own. His partnership up top with Robert Firmino and Sadio Mane ensured a 4th place finish for the Merseysiders and has also set up a mouth-watering Champions League final clash with Real Madrid on the 26th of May at Kyiv.

The 25-year old’s sensational form also saw him triumph at?the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Players’ Player of the Year award and the Football Writers’ Association’s (FWA) Footballer of the Year.? He has now pocketed the Player Of The Season Award as well, which only further proves his credentials.

Speaking to the Premier League website, Salah said,”?I am very happy, I am very proud to win it,” he told the Premier League’s official website. They say I didn’t have success here the first time, so it was always in my mind to have success here in the Premier League.”

Having beaten off competition from David de Gea, Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and James Tarkowski for the award, the former Roma man will now be happing to add more to his 44-goal tally and help his side win a record 6th European Cup title in 2 weeks’ time.
