The newspapers are currently rife with rumours as to with whom Berahino will be playing the Premier League and big guns like Liverpool, Tottenham, Man United and Man City are being linked with the striker for the past few weeks. Even though there is no truth to bids already being lodged, there is some serious interest being shown in West Brom’s top scorer. It’s fairly obvious because Berahino has been an integral part of the team so far this season, with majority of the points of West Brom being owed to the goals he scored. Quick and technically gifted, with a great eye for the goal, Berahino has scored 8 goals so far in the Premier League and boasts of a better conversion rate. Berahino is undoubtedly a very talented player and has a great future ahead but some fans are already questioning whether recent rumours about him may have diverted him and make him lose focus.
With figures of more than 20million pounds being quoted, I feel now would be the right time to sell Berahino to allow Pulis to strengthen the team as he deems it fit.
With teams willing to offer only 10-12m pounds for the lad, WBA seemingly looks unmoved by the speculations and want the striker to at least stay till the end of the campaign .The Saga is still not over and might heat up further as time is less and the window is closing in soon.
