Conquering injury setbacks, Brody Malone has come forth to speak up about the struggles he faced during rehab days. In a renowned podcast show Last In-Line Leadership, the talented gymnast representing the USA unveiled his tussles of the hardest days he ever had. “Yeah, so I’d say the hardest part was, I’m a pretty busy person like I like to stay, I like to stay busy, I like to move around. I hate not being able to get up and do stuff for myself and go out and do stuff that I want to. And, you know, for after that second surgery, I was in bed for pretty much a month straight, I couldn’t hardly get up. The only time I got up was to go to the bathroom or shower. That was pretty much it, I couldn’t do much else. And that was a hard time for me,” he remarked.
In addition to that, Brody Malone also went on to elaborate his battles, highlighting how he was unable to get a glass of water. He struggled to move his leg on his own which was a horrific experience. “Yeah, I imagine, and I had to like to pick my leg up, I couldn’t really move my leg on its own, I had to pick it up with my arms and move it off the bed, grab my, I had to sit on the edge of the bed and wait for the blood to rush to my leg, that was the worst part,” he stated further.
Despite facing many obstacles, Malone’s unshakable faith and perseverance have carried him onto the path to recovery and success. Malone is now looking forward to chasing his Olympic glory in the France capital, Paris, this summer
