Ryder Cup: Jordan Spieth hits a mindboggling flop shot
Even though the duo of Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth lost their foursome match on Friday, Spieth stole the limelight. On the 17th hole, Thomas’ tee shot on the par-3 hole drifted off to the left.
The ball was stuck on the 20-foot drop from the green, down to Lake Michigan. A seemingly impossible task, Spieth shocked the crowd with his ridiculously amazing shot, which fell just a few feet away from the hole.

The shot was exceptional to watch as even though he lost his balance and stumbled down towards the lake. However, Spieth came out of that unscathed and shocked everyone with his shot. Following Spieth’s shot, people from all around the world started congratulating the fighter.
Even Sergio Garcia praised him and said, “I didn’t think there was a chance he could get it on the green.”
Bryson DeChambeau hits bombs at the Cup
Bryson DeChambeau had promised us ‘400 yard bombs’ ahead of the Ryder Cup. And he delivered beautifully. Two of which are definitely worth featuring in this list of best shots.
On the 5th hole, DeChambeau hit a monstrous drive on the par-4. The ball landed on the green, a considerable distance from home. However, that’s not where it ended. He proceeded to sink the long putt for an eagle to truly dominate the hole.
Moreover, he hit a 417-yard monstrous drive on the 603-yard par-5. An aerial view of the shots showed what a difference his strategy made. He went on to make another eagle on this hole and truly showed the power of distance play.

Apart from these, there were a few other notable shots. For instance, Brooks Koepka nearly missed a hole in one. Had the direction been a few centimeters to the left, he would’ve drained it in.
In addition, Justin Thomas’ second shot on a par-4 almost went in for an eagle! However, the ball rolled towards the hole, spun around it once, and then settled a foot from it. Imagine the disappointment that comes with that!
