Persona games have all of a sudden gained a lot of traction, thanks to Atlus suddenly going global in terms of platform. These games are now available on every platform, from 3 to 5, so whoever wishes can play them instantly. From PlayStation 5 to PC to Nintendo Switch, Persona 3 to 5 are available everywhere.
3 and 4 are just remasters, though, so these games basically received only increased resolution and some small graphical upgrades. But that is about to change; it appears Atlus is in the process of developing a full remake of Persona 3, and some footage of that game might have leaked recently.

Persona is a series of mystery role-playing games that often deal with real-life psychological issues. This series sprouted long ago from the Shin Megami Tensei series, which is basically a darker version of Persona.
As players play these games, they are put in the middle of a bunch of characters in a social setting. They have to manage their usual gameplay and the character’s social life, and the things and people players prioritize change the direction this story takes.
Persona 3 launched in 2005, originally for the PlayStation 2. The game was lauded for its deep, layered gameplay and story. It was eventually ported to the PlayStation Portable, and there too it got critical acclaim, even though it was lacking a number of features. The thing is that when it launched on these modern consoles as a remaster, for some reason Atlus released the portable version, which lacked those features.

And fans did not like this; they wanted the complete version, yet they received this watered-down portable version. But then it was announced that Atlus had much bigger plans for Persona 3; they are actually working on a full-fledged new-gen remake of this game. This excited the fans, and now they were left wondering how this game would look. This question was answered very recently when a clip from this remake was leaked.

The authenticity of this footage has yet to be confirmed, but everyone is loving it and going crazy over how good it looks. The thing is that even if this footage is real, the chances of Atlus confirming it are very slim, and no company has confirmed that their game was leaked. Instead, they do damage control and remove that footage.
