Colby Covington cites Ronda Rousey as an inspiration

Ronda Rousey is a UFC Hall of Famer. She debuted in the WWE at the 2019 Royal Rumble. Her debut match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon won plaudits from pro wrestling fans who say she took to it like a fish to water. During her first year, she claimed the Raw Women’s Championship.

“Ronda Rousey the greatest women’s mixed martial artist of all time. It’s good to learn from her and see her and how she’s handling the transition from MMA to pro wrestling. So I think I’m gonna have a good grasp.”

Chaos’ is someone who has the mic skills to cut a promo in the ring. His fighting background will certainly help him in transition. The UFC Welterweight dabbled in pro wrestling before and competed at Impact Wrestling’s Bound for Glory. The tag team match featured one of ‘Chaos’ close friends Bobby Lashley who is currently in the WWE.

His aim is to head over to the WWE and “make wrestling real again” and get the fans behind it. ‘Chaos’ WWE dream may materialize next year. However, he remains in the UFC where he wants a rematch against Kamaru Usman.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ is set to face Jorge Masvidal next. ‘Chaos’ called out Tyron Woodley for UFC 249. That fight did not materialize. Based on his war of words with ‘Gamebred’ one wouldn’t be upset to see him clash with his fellow ATT mate somewhere down the road.

If ‘Chaos’ is a man of his word. He is set for a final few fights in the Octagon. Who would you like to see him face?
