He’s not really had a fantastic year this season. In the seven races held so far, the Frenchman has only scored two points, having finished inside the top ten in one race out of the seven so far. But while his current standing- Seventeenth on the grid– out of twenty drivers fails to impress, what may not necessarily be the idea that Romain Grosjean has shared in order to make F1 interesting.

Romain Grosjean, prior to this weekend’s French Grand Prix has shared that in order to make F1 more fascinating than what it is right now, there would have to be a re-introduction of certain elements of Grand Prix racing that had gone missing earlier.

In fact, what is interesting is that Romain Grosjean shares his piece of mind right after Lewis Hamilton’s repeated assertion that the sport has become a bit too easy for drivers in the end. The Mercedes driver has been in favor of making the sport more arresting and competitive than its current conception.

“Sometimes you do these races and you can get up and I could do a race… I could probably do two or three races in a row.

“Formula One should not be like that.”

In addition, the Haas driver, who’ll be participating in his second home Grand Prix event in the form of the 2019 French GP also added, “I recently ran a go-kart race with friends,” he said in an interview with Ekstra Bladet, “125cc with gearshift. And I was more tired than after a Formula 1 grand prix.

“Why? Because you are pushing all the time and you don’t have to save fuel.”

That said, do you think that F1 can become a bit more interesting for the viewers and exhaustive for the drivers if the concept of refueling were to return to the top annals of Grand Prix racing?
