Indian opener, Rohit Sharma, revealed how Yuvraj Singh helped him when he was struggling for runs before the start of Indian Premier League. That was a phase when Rohit Sharma was short of runs and concerns were being raised ahead of the World Cup.
Before the IPL, Rohit went to Yuvraj told him about his concern over the lack of runs. “I’m striking but it’s not coming,” he said to Yuvraj. When asked about the conversation with Yuvraj, Rohit referred to Yuvraj Singh as his big brother and told that they would always talk about the game. Rohit also quoted Yuvraj saying that he would score when it mattered the most (World Cup).
The Mumbai batsman also said that Yuvraj helped him with the experience from a similar situation which he had faced before the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Yuvraj Singh was the man of the tournament that year and was hugely influential in India’s World Cup triumph.

The Indian vice captain broke the record of former Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara who struck four centuries in the last edition of the World Cup in Australia.
Rohit Sharma also became the 4th batsman and the 2nd Indian to score over 600 runs in a single edition of the World Cup. In 2003, Sachin Tendulkar had finished with 673 runs and that remains the record for most runs in a single World Cup and in 2007, Matthew Hayden smashed 659 runs from 11 matches as Australia won the World Cup.

Rohit is already 3rd in the list of most century scorers for India in ODIs behind Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli and he has also hit the most sixes in one-day cricket for India.
2019, so far, has been excellent for the Mumbaikar as he also led Mumbai Indians to a record 4th IPL title.
