I’ve become like a professional driver: Roger Federer

Roger reflected on the fact that he has had to drive around his kids. The Swiss ace said, “I like spending time with my children, going for a walk with and just seeing them grow up… My biggest hobby and job in someways in being a father and husband to make sure I do my best”.

Federer has been picking them and dropping them off at various places. He certainly does enjoy every bit of it. He sees himself as a “time manager” wearing two watches to have a firm grasp on his duties, both as a great father and a good husband.

Besides family, Federer said, “I read the papers, I read the news because I want to know what’s happening. I really like to call my friends and see what is happening.”

“Its an exciting one,” says the Swiss on his association with the brand On

Federer has become the face of another brand called “On”. Roger is not only going to be the face of the brand but also design shoes. They have already launched an edition called “The Roger”.

Federer said, “We just really hit it off, we had a good chat, a good feeling and I said let’s start producing stuffBecause maybe nothing comes out of it and then I am happy a Swiss brand ‘On’ is going to be successful with my input and if they don’t need it or want it, that’s okay too.”

The maestro is certainly excited about his new association and is keen on it. He has followed ‘On’ thoroughly, as it’s another Swiss company. He certainly seems optimistic about this new venture and feels it is the right time in his career to form such a partnership.

With the way the season has summed up as far as Grand Slam events are concerned, Novak Djokovic has remained on 17 sSams and Rafael Nadal equaled Roger’s record of 20. Things are heating up in the race for most Grand Slams, and Federer will surely feel the pressure. Setting sight on the Australian Open 2021, Federer could produce another magical moment the way he did in 2017 under similar circumstances.
