2019 winner American cowboy Tanner Aus unleashed his raw talent and unyielding spirit in the ground. With each fierce buck & daring move, he showcased the culmination of years of relentless dedication to his craft. On 17th July 2023, Aus shared a new post on Facebook, and in the caption he penned, “Thank you to everyone that tuned in to watch the Calgary Stampede this past week. Ended up 3rd overall after a fun matchup with E-508 Disco Party in the long round. I had a blast and I am so thankful to have been a part of the greatest outdoor show on earth!
Along with this, in an interview with Calgary Sun, he mentioned, “There are very few rodeos I go to now where I set my bag down and I’m not the oldest guy there.” He was one of the top scorers of the day. Aus secured an extraordinary score of 87.5 & a prize of $7,000. Furthermore, his outstanding showing of 84.5 earned him an additional payout of $5,500. So, with a total of $12,500, he headed into the third and final day of the 10-man pool on Wednesday. This left netizens awe-struck and elated in the comments.
