Robin van Persie, the 31 year old has been under the AC Milan radar and a bid might be expected soon on the striker, who have been looking for a clinical striker and an effective marksmen, according to Goal.com.
The striker hasn’t played his best last season, managing only a meager 10 goals, less compared to his quality on the ground. The demand for a proper all-round striker grows deeper for the Italian team as their strikers are often down with injury. With only one year remaining on his contract, he might look for a move real soon.
AC Milan, still shaken up about the sale of the ownership of the club, needs to get back to it’s old glorious self. The Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol, wishes to buy out the stake of the club, but Italian businessman and politician Berlusconi doesn’t want to give it away all so easily. A reported €500 million deal might take Berlusconi’s 29 year ownership away. Their new manager Sinisa Mihajlovic would aim for a Champions League spot, after Fillipo Inzaghi’s failure to achieve the same objective, achieving only the 10th position.
