The Delhi Capitals took over the lead in the IPL table with an emphatic win over the Rajasthan Royals. Youngsters, Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw were the stars of the show with an 84-run stand for the third wicket.
Following the match and the victory, Delhi Capitals mentor, Sourav Ganguly rushed out and wrapped Rishabh Pant in a strong embrace. That moment certainly made Pant’s night, getting a hug from a legend of Ganguly’s calibre.
Speaking after the match, Rishabh Pant said, “After I finished off the match and coming out, everyone was showering so much love. It felt special when Sourav sir lifted me, it was a different experience,”
